How to enable cookies:

1. From the "Edit" menu on the browser's menu bar, select "Preferences"
2. Click on " Privacy & Security" to see menu
3. Click on "Cookies"
4. Click on " Enable all cookies"
5. Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 4.x

How to enable cookies and JavaScript:

1. From "Edit" menu on browser menu bar, select "Preferences"
2. Click "Advanced" in menu
3. Check off "Accept all cookies"
4. Check off "Enable JavaScript"
5. Click "OK"

Netscape Navigator 3.x

How to enable JavaScript:

1. From "Options" menu on browser bar, select "Network Preferences"
2. Select the "Languages" tab
3. Check "Enable Java"
4. Check "Enable JavaScript"
5. Click "OK"

Netscape Communicator 4.x for Macintosh

Change your cookies settings. 

1. From the " Edit" menu, select "Preferences"
2. Click "Advanced"
3. Click to select the box labeled " Accept All Cookies"
4. Click "OK"

Are you getting a download window when you try to enter our Articles & Information databases from home? 

When entering our Articles & Information databases, do you see a download pop-up window instead of a log in screen? If so, you may have a download accelerator loaded on your computer. Real Player sometimes installs a download accelerator automatically, or you may have downloaded a separate download accelerator.

To prevent the pop-up window from appearing on your screen, please disable your download accelerator. You will then be able to log-in from home to use our Articles & Information databases.

How do I uninstall RealDownload from my computer?

To uninstall RealDownload, click the Start menu, choose Programs, then Real, then RealDownload 4, then click on "Uninstall RealDownload". The change will take effect after you restart your computer.

What if I do not want RealDownload to handle a particular download?

If there's a download link that you don't want RealDownload to handle for you, just hold down the control ("Ctrl") key on your keyboard when you click the link. Your web browser will handle the download as if RealDownload wasn't even there.
